Resort/ Motel was not as bad as the reviews had lead on. The room was nice and clean, however it was on the side of the interstate and was very noisy all night. I would request a room away from that. We never heard loud music at night by the pool. The pool was nice and clean. Overall a nice place to stay for the price. The location is the best right in town with walking distance to many restaurants parks and entertainment. Would stay again.

As proud as I am to write this, I may regret it. Once others realize this is a treasure, it may be fully booked and crowded. The pool and rooms are fantastic, and Mimi @ grill is the epitome of excellent customer service.I stayed for a week while working nearby. I ate at the grill/bar for three nights, and the food was good. I spent one afternoon in the pool - which I chose over the parks.If you've ever stayed at an all-inclusive, it has that same feeling. Excellent pool, volleyball, and a fun vibe.Don't mistake this as a substitute for a business hotel, but if you want a vacation-flavored stay, this one's perfect.Rooms are either remodeled or being remodeled.Again, this is a gem; if you're not hard to get along with, you'll love this!

Property is old and outdated. Cheap rooms and dirty property. You get what you pay for.

Noisy AC , bathroom flush not working , only one elevator

The Avanti is located in the middle of everything on IDrive. The hotels is great for families with small children / teens. Saved money by excluding a rental car due to us being able to walk to ICON park , eateries, Dave and Busters etc;. And the price for stay is reasonable. Comfortable beds, Nice Bar by the pool and the breakfast voucher is a plus.

Had to wait for 20 minutes in a line to check in. When I got out of the airport I thought I was done with lineups. Then at check in I found out that they had additional fees that had to be paid to them.

Walking distance to food option, bars and dining.

Basic room but clean.. a bit noisy in the complex but also break week for families! Overall great value for the money.

The onsite dining is a joke. It's massively overpriced, moreso than the themeparks we went to. Don't buy the breakfast, they only provide the bare minimum, didn't even have an option with any meat. Concierge was also infuriating, they won't let you book a shuttle spot unless you're onsite and 24hrs ahead of time. Is a telephone really that much of a chore? For this place it is. Noisy til the late hours of the night with them piping music into the pool past the scheduled hour of 11pm close. Room was fine and the pool was great (especially the bartender at the pool) but that's the only thing moving it from 1 star to 2.

Great location, we stayed for our Universal family vacation. Someone took out the cabke pole with their car, so cable was unavailable. But that doesnt reflect on the property at all. Property was quiet at night, and security seems good. Shower was a little beat up, pool and ameneties were great. Will stay here again in the fall.

The property is in the perfect place since it’s right in International Drive but it has many flaws. The wifi was down during my whole stay. The cable was down too during my whole stay. The pool was open until 11 but the tv that was by the pool that seemed to be the only one with cable was turned off by 10. Also the Starbucks is supposed to open at 7 am in the lobby and no one was there at 11 am to take care of our order. The bathroom didn’t have enough towels.

I really loved the room and everything they had to offer. Too bad that Friday-Monday they had a internet connection issue and the tv cable didn’t work our entire stay! Very hard to get dressed with o it cartoons for my baby ! But other than that I loved the pool area and cafe !

I like the set up of the room,bed was comfortable but the resort is not really like a resort but you can tell there heading to the right direction, and awful tv resources. My tv didn’t not work my entire stay.

liked the pool atmosphere and staff, but not a ton of supervision (kids running around the fitness center). understaffed, too - only 1 bartender, and the cable in my room didn’t work.

The only thing to like is the location. The hotel is one of the worst hotels in the area for the price.

The hallways to the elevators looks awful and the floors and walls need painting.The complimentary breakfast is small and with a very small size orange juice. The TV didn’t work in the beginning of my stand and the last day. There should be a pamphlet for TV listing, I had go thru every channels and write it down. I should be refunded the two days resort fee and half of hotel stay.

Ice machine had no ice. The drink machine read broken. The pool area had lots of trash and no towels. The tub had black stuff and painted over tiles. Right next to I4 so we can hear the vehicles non stop day/night.

Great hotel. Only thing missing is hooks to hang towels.

It’s an older property, but y’all do a great job with making it feel more modern. Everyone I encountered was very hospitable. The three girls you had checking folks in at 430 on march 2, 2023 all need a raise. They were young, but very professional in appearance and behaviors as well as clean and well groomed. Thanks for a great stay. I’ll be back with my family.

The bathroom needed the drain in the shower fixed and there was someone else's hair in the drain. The landscaping was done well and the pool area was enjoyable. Jeffrey at the bar was amazing and made us feel right at home after a long trip!If you are going to Universal via shuttle don't forget to go to the Universal Concierge to book it in advance! The bus driver was wonderful.

No frills. strong carpet fresh odor. No soap. Slow drain in shower.

The hotel was pretty straightforward in terms of appearance and amenities...the room was cozy though! The pool was a little crowded (and the water was weirdly salty), but otherwise fine.

It was beautiful but they were rushing to clean our room so the floor was still dirty.

First time staying at this property. My wife and I really enjoyed ourselves. We definitely will be back!

The check in process was not what anyone would expect these days. We arrive at 4pm and had to wait several hours before we could go into the room. Some of my party didn’t get their keys until almost 11 pm. Manager di very little to help. Communication was not good at all.

Two big issues.1.They didn't seem to know I was arriving and couldn't find my booking. Required calling the off duty manager and making myself and two small children wait around for them to get a response and get it resolved.2. I have a mysterious $249 dollar charge on my credit card and no explanation for it or receipt.

I only stayed there based on price and online reviews. The resort was ok. The staff was very nice and very courteous. But, the room was not as nice as the online photos represented. There were big stains on the white sheets on the bed. Day 2, instead of nicely arranging the toiletries, they were just dumped on the bathroom counter and the bathroom trash can was left by the front door. I stayed there for a business trip. But I think the location is more ideally suited for a recreational vacation destination. I did not use any onsite amenities, but they did look appealing for those looking for onsite amenities in FL.

Pool area was great. Around resort was not very clean. Missing paper toilet has to find someone to get it. Room was clean.

I liked the way it was set up. When i put in a request about needing something, it was always taken care of.

When we arrived 2 hours after our check in time, our room wasn’t ready. There were at least 5 other groups of people waiting as well. Our group had three year old twins and my special needs daughter who screamed for an hour in the lobby while we waited for them to clean the rooms. The worst part of this experience for me was that the staff was completely unapologetic and did not seem to care at all that we were inconvenienced by this situation.

Clean, daily house keeping, safe, comfortable

This resort has potential, its a work in progress and you can tell what they have been working on, but the building its self is very outdated, chip walls, it looked very dirty the hallway,the elevator was not the best, they had to come work on it, the room is modern, but the bathroom was not and that made a huge difference, it has a very old school feel to it.

Plenty of amazing areas around the property. General property was pretty ugly and had a bit of trash, but the rooms weren't bad at all. The bathroom smelled a bit upon arrival and was clearly dated compared to the rest of the room. Great pool, jacuzzi and dining services. Communication was rough, however. Breakfast system was not communicated well even after asking multiple employees. I did the express check out where you drop off and send a text. I haven't received any confirmation that I was considered checked out nor have I received a receipt yet, despite calling and leaving messages.
